For the fifth consecutive year, MGA will host an estimated 800 Future Farmers of America (FFA) students April 23-26 as they conduct volunteer work on MGA’s Macon Campus.
On Wednesday, April 23, and Thursday, April 24, MGA will host an Arbor Day celebration and tree planting ceremonies at 11 a.m. behind the Peyton Anderson Enrollment Center on the Macon Campus. The MGA community is invited to attend the ceremonies, where staff will add a shady lane Compton oak and an American dream swamp white oak to University gardens while providing a demonstration on proper tree planting techniques for FFA volunteers.
Middle Georgia CEO highlighted the announcement.
"'We’re thrilled to celebrate Arbor Day with the dedicated FFA student volunteers,' said Tyler Austin, MGA grounds manager. 'Initiatives like these play a meaningful role in enhancing the beauty of our campuses. It’s an inspiring opportunity to come together and make a lasting impact for current and future Knights.'"
